Volunteering Hour Filling Instructions for Lilly Members - Records of Volunteering Grants (Only 30 volunteering hours are needed to qualify for the program).

2008 Volunteering Hours for ICPAI Members:

1. Average 4 hours group practices per week for 38 weeks on Saturdays and Sundays. Total will be 152 hours if you attended all Sat/Sunday practices.

2. Three hours for small group practices in some of the weekday evenings. These hours will be added based on individual's attendance time.

3. For cultural performing events - New year show 10 hours, earthquake relief show 8 hours, other show 4 hours for each event.

2007 Volunteering Hours for ICPAI Members:

Practice: Average 4 hours group practices per week for 47 weeks on Saturdays, plus 3 additional hours for small group practices in the weekday evenings. Total 168 hours if you attended all Saturday practices. The small group hours will be added with individual's attendance rates.

Performing events: Total 11 performing events with 6 hours each plus 10 hours for Chinese New Year celebration preparation, rehearsal and performance. Total 76 hours if you participated all 12 events.

Practices : Average 3 hours per week for total 48 weeks (Total 144 hours if you participated practice every week)

48. Stir Crazy (Located in Greenwood Mall area) Grand Opening, 6:30-9:00PM, 11/6 (Tue). 15 volunteers performed for 1 hour 15 minutes.

57. Asian Festival - Garfield Park, 12:00-6:00PM, 5/10/2008. Programs: multi-folk dances, Red Bowtie, Wedding, Qing, Qipao and Wedding demo

58. China earthquake relief fundraising event – Madam Walker Theater Center, 3:00-5:00PM, 6/10/08. Played as an event organizer with total 2 hours programs co-performed with other organizations and professional artists. A total of $8,071 for China earthquake and $635 for Indiana flood relives were raised from tickets and donations. All the funds were delivered to American Red Cross-Greater Indianapolis by June 20, 2008.
